Cannas - Although I have had no previous experience growing cannas, I grew this orange canna lily with its variegated leaves, which had been a gift from another gardener, as a container plant. It produced beautiful gladiola-like blossoms for much of the summer. Our climate forces us to bring the corms indoors in the fall. In Australia's warmer climate, we observed various shades of cannas blooming during their spring (our autumn!).
