Coneflowers (Echinacea, Rudbeckia) - Echinacea was originally a native North American plant.
However, there are more and more long-blooming hybrid varieties and colours such as pinks, purples, white and
pale yellow appearing in garden centres each year. The deeper golden yellow 'look alike' coneflowers are known
as Rudbeckia.
