Prairie Smoke, Old Man's Whiskers (Geum triflorum): Prairie smoke is an interesting native plant for a rock or a prairie garden. At one time, First Nations Peoples boiled the roots of this plant to make a tea. These photos were taken in the 'native plants' garden at the University of Guelph's Arboretum.
