Oxeye Daisy (Leucanthemum vulgare): As a weed, the oxeye daisy has become one of the more
welcomed sights in Northern American meadows and roadsides. Although its origins are in Asia, it was first introduced
into Eastern North America from Europe in the early 1600s. With their sunny centres, daisies bring about smiles,
especially when they are picked by young children.
